Sigma Corporation Chairman Michihiro Yamaki awarded prestigious golden photokina pin at CP+
Michihiro Yamaki, founder, chairman and chief executive officer of Sigma Corporation, was presented with the golden photokina pin by Oliver P. Kuhrt, executive vice president of Koelnmesse GmbH, a photokina Cologne organizer, on Feb. 9, the opening day of the “CP+”, the Camera & Photo Imaging Show in Yokohama, Japan. Kuhrt said that the pin was “the most prestigious award photokina can bestow,” and described Chairman Yamaki as “an outstanding individual who has rendered exceptional service to photokina Cologne.” Kuhrt further congratulated Chairman Yamaki on the fact that Sigma is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2011, and that Chairman Yamaki “can be proud of the fact that Sigma lenses are considered among the best in the world today.
